Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte

A collection of short stories about interconnected characters who are all "rejected" in some way. I'm in awe of (and a little resentful of) this book's ability to make me empathize with some of the vilest characters I've encountered. It's dark, uncomfortable, and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny.
